Wellington Masters
5000m Walk |
| The
5000m track walk is an event that has never appeared at the
Olympics. Track walking as a whole has only made sporadic
appearances at that level, with 3000m 3500m and 10000m
distances appearing up to 1924. After that
all walking events were held out of stadia, on road. It
was held as a Centre Championship event for the first time
(at least in recent years) in 2016/17 |
