South Island Masters
10000m |
| The
10000m has been an Olympic event since 1912 for men and women
from 1988. The 5000m is the
longest running race in the South Island Masters Track since
the 10km Road Race event was removed.
When the 10km Road Race was still a
part of the standard programme, a 10000m Race was held
whenever a road course was unavailable. This was in the
years when only the men were offered 10km. |
