NZ Masters Indoor
Triple Jump

The Triple Jump is an event with an interesting history. It was created from interpretations of the history of ancient Olympic games, where inconceivably long jumps were assumed to have come from a series of jumps but descriptions could as easily have been artistic license. In the modern Olympic games, the event has been contested since their inception in 1896 for men and from 1996 for women.

Performances by guest athletes from outside New Zealand are marked [IE].

NZ Records from NZ Masters Athletics as at 16 February 2023.
