NZ National Masters
Pole Vault
The Pole Vault is sometimes not offered as an event, depending on the facilities available at the host centre. In the Olympics, it has has been contested by men since 1896 and women from 2000.

The normal convention used if two or more vaulters have finished with the same height is to use the number of misses at the final height as a tie-breaker..

The standard programme places the event on Friday afternoon.
